Integrate Slack with Insight7 to receive real-time notifications, share insights instantly, and streamline communication between your teams and your data.

Step 1: Go to Settings #

1. Log in to your Insight7 account

2. Click on your profile icon (bottom left corner)

3. Select Settings

Step 2: Open Integrations #

In the left sidebar, you’ll see:

• Customization

• Automations

• Billing

• Help

• Teams

• Profile

• Integrations

• Admin

Click Integrations.

Step 3: Connect Slack #

On the Integrations page, scroll to the Available Integrations section.
Locate the Slack integration — you’ll see Slack

Click Connect.

Step 4: Review App Permissions #

A Slack window will open showing:

Insight7
Install the “Insight7” app in Slack

You’ll be prompted to review permissions under:

Information “Insight7” can view:

• Content and info about channels & conversations

• Content and info about your workspace

Actions “Insight7” can take:

• Perform actions in channels & conversations

• Additional permissions may appear depending on your workspace setup

Step 5: Approve and Install #

After reviewing, click Install Insight7.
Once installed, you’ll see the connection status update to Connected in your Insight7 dashboard.
