Candidate Screening allows you to evaluate candidates, new hires, or reps on actual skills—not just interview performance—before they interact with real customers. Screen for competency through realistic AI-powered scenarios.
Accessing Candidate Screening #
- Login to your Insight7 account
- Go to Trainings tab
- Click on Screenings
- Click New Screening
Creating a Screening #
You have two options:
Option 1: Create from Prompt #
Step 1: Select Create from Prompt
Step 2: Enter Your Prompt
Describe the screening scenario you want to create
Upload Company Context (Recommended)
- Product documentation
- Talk tracks and scripts
- Call frameworks
This helps Insight7 build screenings that match your business, customers, and real situations.
Step 3: Configure Settings
Delivery Mode:
- Voice – Realistic phone simulation
- Chat – Text-based screening
Evaluation Criteria:
- Auto-generate criteria – AI creates relevant assessment framework
- Select criteria – Choose from existing evaluation templates
Step 4: Add Participants
Add candidates who will receive screening invitations:
- Enter First Name
- Enter Last Name
- Enter Email
- Click + to add more participants
Step 5: Generate Screening
Click Generate to create the screening.
Candidates receive the screening invitation automatically and complete it on their own time.
Option 2: Create Manually #
Step 1: Select Create Manually
Step 2: Configure Screening Details
Screening Name:
- Give your screening a descriptive name
Evaluation Criteria:
- Auto-generate criteria – Let AI create assessment framework
- Or select specific criteria to evaluate
Delivery Mode:
- Voice or Chat
Describe Your Screening Scenario:
- Write detailed context for the roleplay
- Include specific challenges or situations
- Describe the persona
Upload Relevant Files (Optional):
- Product guides
- Company materials
Supported formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX
Click Continue.
Step 3: Add Participants
Same as Option 1:
- Enter participant details
- Add multiple candidates
- They’ll receive screening invitations
Step 4: Create Screening
Review and click Create.
After Candidates Complete Screening #
You receive:
- Scored evaluation – Overall performance assessment
- Detailed breakdown – Performance by skill area
- Evidence from screening – Specific examples from their responses
No need to sit through the screening yourself – you get results automatically.
Candidates get the screening. You get the results. Your customers get a team that showed up ready.
