How to Develop Voice of Customer Reports From Calls

Want to turn raw customer conversations into executive-ready insights? Insight7’s Voice of Customer (VOC) Report template helps you summarize key customer sentiments, pain points, and opportunities into a clear, strategic report for decision-makers.

Accessing the VOC Report Template #

Step 1: Go to Analyze → Templates

  1. Log in to your Insight7 account at insight7.io

  2. From your dashboard, click Analyze → Templates

Step 2: Choose “Customer Service”
Under Templates, you’ll see:

  • Quality Assurance

  • Onboarding

  • Support Experience

  • Retention & Loyalty

  • Insights & Strategy

Select Insights & Strategy.

Step 3: Click “Develop Voice of Customer Report”
You’ll find this option under the Insights & Strategy category.

Running the Analysis #

What it does:

  • Consolidates customer feedback into structured themes

  • Highlights recurring topics, satisfaction drivers, and unmet needs

  • Generates insight summaries designed for stakeholder reporting

How to use it:

  1. Upload your customer call recordings or transcripts

  2. Click Run Analysis

  3. Review the automatically generated Voice of Customer Report
