How To Understand Market Needs From VOC

Insight7 helps you uncover unmet customer needs directly from real conversations, turning qualitative feedback into actionable market insights. With Understand Market Needs from VOC, you can identify gaps, opportunities, and motivations that shape your product or marketing strategy.

Accessing Market Needs Analysis #

Step 1: Go to Analyze → Templates

  1. Log in to your Insight7 account at insight7.io

  2. From the main navigation, select Analyze → Templates

Step 2: Choose “Marketing”
Click Marketing under the Templates section.

Step 3: Select “Marketing Research”
Under Marketing, you’ll see:

  • Messaging

  • Positioning

  • Marketing Research

  • Content & Communications

Click Marketing Research, then select Understand Market Needs from VOC.

Extracting Market Insights #

What it does:

  • Identifies unmet customer needs and expectations

  • Highlights recurring themes in customer feedback

  • Reveals emotional drivers and motivations behind purchasing behavior

  • Surfaces new opportunities for product or market expansion

How to use it:

  1. Upload your conversation or feedback files

  2. Click Run Analysis

  3. Review the extracted insights showing unmet needs and opportunity areas based on VOC data
