How To Identify Themes Across Conversations

Insight7 makes it easy to uncover patterns, pain points, and recurring ideas from multiple calls, all in minutes. Whether you’re analyzing customer feedback, product interviews, or support calls, theme extraction helps you see what truly matters at scale.

Accessing Theme Extraction #

Step 1: Go to Extract Insights

  1. Log in to your Insight7 account at insight7.io

  2. From the main navigation, select Analyze → Extract Insights

Step 2: Choose “Themes”
Select Themes from the insight extraction options.
Use this when you want to:

  • Identify common customer pain points

  • Discover trending topics across conversations

  • Understand user motivations and behaviors

  • Group feedback into meaningful categories

Customize Your Insights #

After selecting Themes, you’ll see customization options to tailor your analysis.

Choose a Template:

  • Marketing

  • Product

  • Research

  • Operations

Or use your own saved template.

Select or Add Insights to Extract:

  • Pain Points

  • Desires

  • Behaviors

  • Compliments

  • Motivations

Select or Add Your Project Goals:

  • Engagement

  • Adoption

  • Experience

  • Retention

  • Performance

  • Satisfaction

Step 3: Extract Themes #

Click Extract Themes to start processing.
Insight7 will automatically analyze your selected calls, identify recurring topics, and surface key patterns—ready for you to review and share.

Tip: #

Use theme extraction after bulk uploading calls to quickly spot patterns across multiple conversations.
