How to Create Customer Journey Maps From Calls

Want to visualize how customers actually experience your product or service? Insight7’s Customer Journey Maps template helps you turn real conversations into a clear, end-to-end view of the customer journey — from first touch to resolution.

Accessing the Customer Journey Maps Template #

Step 1: Go to Analyze → Templates

  1. Log in to your Insight7 account at insight7.io

  2. From your dashboard, click Analyze → Templates

Step 2: Choose “Customer Service”
Under Templates, you’ll see:

  • Quality Assurance

  • Onboarding

  • Support Experience

  • Retention & Loyalty

  • Insights & Strategy

Select Insights & Strategy.

Step 3: Click “Create Customer Journey Maps”
You’ll find this option under the Insights & Strategy category.

Running the Analysis #

What it does:

  • Maps real customer experiences from multiple touchpoints

  • Highlights friction points, moments of delight, and emotional peaks

  • Reveals the complete customer lifecycle using VOC (Voice of Customer) data

How to use it:

  1. Upload your call recordings or transcripts

  2. Click Run Analysis

  3. View your automatically generated customer journey visualization
